What will I do?
I will be ‘a voice for your family’.
With empathy and compassion,
I will use my listening skills to collaborate with you to create a funeral (or memorial) service
that honours the life of your loved one.
The service will be unique to them, reflecting their personality and life,
whilst acknowledging your grief.
Working as ‘a voice for your family’ I will:

Plan an appropriate service with you.

Draft a programme of the ceremony for your approval.

Compose a fitting tribute if requested, or support you in writing your own.

Conduct and lead your loved one’s service.

Provide presentation copies of the ceremony afterwards.
What is a funeral celebrant?
A funeral celebrant is ‘a person who is specifically trained and certified, who seeks to meet the needs of families during their time of loss.
They serve by providing a funeral service that is personalised to reflect the personality and life of the deceased’.
